The Challenge has been extended to 12/31/2020

RULES

  • Total State Park Photos Required to complete the Challenge: 15 out of 19
  • Time frame: Now - July 31, 2020
  • Log each State Park visit on the provided log sheet ( Download Now )
  • Post each required photo to your FB page as you complete them.  Make sure the post is "public" and not "friends only".  Include the following hashtags with each post:

               #2020ALStateParksChallenge
               #AlabamaOutdoorAdventurer

  • Give the State Park Name and describe your visit in the post!

  1. Blue Springs:  A Selfie at the Springs
  2. Bucks Pocket: The famous tree at the end of the boardwalk. 
  3. Cathedral Caverns: Anywhere inside the cave or cave entrance.
  4. Cheaha:  Bald Rock stone sign at the overlook.
  5. Chewacla: Selfie at the Waterfall
  6. DeSoto: DeSoto Falls
  7. Frank Jackson: On the boardwalk going over to the island.
  8. Gulf : The Butterfly Garden.
  9. Joe Wheeler: The Marina.
  10. Lake Guntersville:  From the Lodge overlooking the Lake. 
  11. Lake Lurleen: A Trail marker sign. 
  12. Lakepoint: From the Lodge looking over Lake Eufaula. 
  13. Meaher : From the boardwalk looking at Mobile Bay. 
  14. Monte Sano: Overlook of Huntsville.
  15. Oak Mountain: Kings’ Chair or Peavine Falls.  
  16. Paul Grist: The State Park Sign.
  17. Rickwood: From inside the cave or cave sign.
  18. Roland Cooper: State Park Sign.
  19. Wind Creek: Of the Silo.

Keep in mind some parks have gate fees to get in.

Once you have completed 15 of the 19 State Parks, take a photo of your log sheet and email it to: info@alabamaoutdooradventurer.com


BONUS!  We'll be giving away a few T-Shirts to some lucky people who get really creative with their Photos so have fun with it!

Your $29.99 entry fee for this challenge covers: Your Free T-Shirt, Challenge Button,  Alabama Outdoor Adventurer Patch & Sticker and most importantly $5.00 towards the 
Alabama State Parks Foundation 

Your T-Shirt will be mailed out within a few days of registration.
Your Challenge Button, Alabama Outdoor Adventurer Patch & Sticker will be mailed upon review of your completed log sheet and paid entry fee.
